The Kids Dentist: Exceptional Dental Care for Kids

At The Kids Dentist, we pride ourselves in providing excellent patient care for your children. We focus on educating our patients on good oral hygiene so they can implement it in their everyday lives.

We understand that all our patients are unique and deserve dental care that reflects their individual needs. To that end, we provide our patients with a positive, comfortable, and stress-free experience.

Meet
Dr. Travis Burk

Born in Oregon, Dr. Burk developed his love for hard work and learning from his parents. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Public Health at BYU and then moved on to OHSU to complete his dental training to become a general dentist. Following graduation, Dr. Burk had the opportunity to work as an associate in a pediatric practice before finding his home at The Kids Dentist. A kid at heart himself, Dr. Burk loves using his talents to help children enjoy coming to the dentist! His combination of fun and professionalism allow children to feel comfortable while their dental needs are met – setting them up for a lifetime of good dental habits.

Dr. Burk is happily married to the love of his life, Abby, and they stay busy with their three kids. In his free time he enjoys playing sports and spending time in the outdoors that Idaho has to offer! He loves the open skies, sunsets, rivers and lakes, and is happy to call Idaho home.

Meet
Dr. Cole Anderson

Dr. Anderson grew up in Boise, Idaho, and graduated from Capital High School. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Boise State University before completing his Doctor of Dental Medicine and a Master’s in Oral Biology at the University of Louisville. Dr. Anderson then specialized in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, completing his residency at Carle Foundation Hospital in Champaign, IL.

Dr. Anderson is passionate about improving lives through oral and facial surgery and finds great fulfillment in his work. He is on the medical staff at both St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center and St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center, where he leads the Oral Surgery and Facial Trauma services. Additionally, he has served on the Medical Executive Board at St. Alphonsus for several years.

Outside of the office, Dr. Anderson enjoys an active life with his wife, Kristyn, and their son, Max. He is also an avid upland hunter and loves spending time in the field with his pointing dogs.

Lindsay

Practice Manager

As the Practice Manager at The Kids Dentist, Lindsay oversees daily operations and supports her team in delivering exceptional pediatric dental care. She helps ensure every family’s visit is smooth, welcoming, and filled with care. With ten years of experience in leadership, she is passionate about building a supportive environment for both patients and staff.
When she’s not at the office, Lindsay stays busy with her husband and their four kids, ranging in age from Elementary school to College! She enjoys reading and spending time outside with her family — whether that is biking, hiking, traveling, or cheering on her kids’ activities.

Mandy

Patient Coordinator 

Mandy is a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator at The Kids Dentist, known for her warm smile and welcoming personality. She was given the opportunity to join the team with Dr. Burk in 2019, and she has earned 37 years of dental experience! She takes pride in helping every family feel comfortable from the moment they walk through the door.
Mandy has been married for 40 years and loves spending time with her husband, traveling, and spoiling their grandkids. Her caring nature and friendly spirit make her a favorite among patients and parents alike!  It is a great privilege and brings her joy to be a part of caring for your kids.

Jazmin

Lead of the Dental Assistant Team

Jazmin was born and raised in Emmett, Idaho. After graduating from Emmett High School in 2022, she pursued her Dental Assistant certificate. At a young age she discovered her passion in teeth and helping others. She received her certificate from Carrington College in 2023.

Jazmin joined the team in June of 2023 and has been part of the team since then. In her dental career, Jazmin is not only a Dental Assistant but is also the Lead of the Dental Assistant team. She is dedicated to her team, but most importantly, she is dedicated to the pediatric patients in our office.
Jazmin is committed to providing high-quality care while ensuring each patient feels comfortable, supported, and valued during every visit. She values building trust and meaningful connections with her patients.
Outside of work, you can find Jazmin at a country concert, fishing, hiking, or working out. She enjoys chasing a sunset while embracing the beauty Idaho has to offer. She loves spending time with her family, friends, and most importantly, her cat Kiwi. Jazmin believes that every patient deserves to feel confident in their smile and feel beautiful. “I can’t wait to meet you and your family and be part of your dental care journey.”

I’m a dedicated dental assistant with four years of hands-on experience in providing exceptional patient care and support. Proficient in assisting with dental procedures, managing patient records, and ensuring a smooth workflow in the clinic. Committed to maintaining a friendly and welcoming environment while prioritizing patient comfort and safety. Passionate about promoting oral health and contributing to a positive dental.
A little about me: Five years ago, I made the move to Idaho, where I now enjoy life with my boyfriend and our two playful dogs. Embracing the beauty of the outdoors, I love spending my time in the water, whether it’s swimming, kayaking, or simply relaxing by the shore. This picturesque setting has become my perfect backdrop for adventure and relaxation, creating cherished memories!

Dental Assistant

I’m a dental assistant dedicated to helping kids feel confident about their smiles and teaching them the importance of good dental habits. Whether I’m showing them how to brush properly or making sure they’re relaxed during their visit, I’m here to make dental care a positive experience.
Outside of work, I’m spending time with my son and family, who keep me grounded and remind me every day of the things that matter most.
A little about me: I graduated high school early (just eager to get started) and went on to Carrington College to train as a dental assistant. I’m always excited to learn new things in my field so I can keep providing the best care for every patient. My goal is to provide the best care possible by uplifting and boosting kids’ confidence while they’re at the dentist-making sure they leave with not only a healthier smile, but a positive attitude about dental visits!

I am originally from Texarkana, Texas and just recently moved to Idaho in 2024! I graduated from Pleasant Grove High School and I recently obtained my DA certificate from Idaho Dental Assisting Academy in Nampa! As a Dental Assistant, I am dedicated to creating a calm, friendly environment and I will always take the time to explain each step so all my patients will feel safe and confident while in my chair! Outside the office, you can always find me reading a good book and spending time with my husband and son! I can’t wait to meet you and make your visit the best one yet!

I was born in Texas and raised in Rupert, Idaho, where I graduated from Minico High School in 2018. I’m a proud Dental Assistant, and outside of work I love spending time with my two dogs, Chai and Mocha!
I’ve been in the dental field since 2019 and have loved every moment of working with kids! My goal is to ensure that every child has a fun, positive, and comfortable experience during their visit by creating a welcoming environment and building strong, trusting relationships with each patient and their family.
I’m excited to continue growing in the pediatric dental field and expanding my skills so I can make an even greater impact. I can’t wait to meet you and be part of your child’s dental journey!

I’m all about helping kids in pediatric dentistry! There’s something so rewarding about working with little ones to build healthy smiles and teach them how awesome good dental hygiene can be. I love being part of their journey to a lifetime of happy, healthy teeth.
When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll probably find me planning a trip to someplace new to travel to or messing around with paints and brushes. I love getting creative and exploring new places – it keeps me energized and happy!
